Your journal should be for your eyes only, which is why Halo has been designed with privacy in mind since the start.
Here's what you should know:
- When you create an account on Halo, you can take the extra step of protecting your entries with an encryption key. Note: enabling encryption means no one else will have access to your key, and we won’t be able to restore your entries if you forget your code.
- You can also set a passcode lock on the app with the support of Face/Touch-ID. This will ensure that your entries are secured and no matter who's using your device, Halo can't be opened by anyone but you.
- Don't want to create an account? All your entries will be stored locally, and no data will leave your device (just remember: if you delete the app, your entries will be lost).
